Challenge

Red Bull approached us to help with a complex Angular.js SEO implementation for their new site, www.redbullsoundselect.com. Heavily JavaScript sites tend to be excellent for user experience, but do tend to struggle when "classic" search engine accessibility issues are considered. Red Bull approached lead consultants, Laura Lippay, Richard Baxter and Pete Wailes to devise a front end solution and an internationalisation strategy for the site platform.

Solution

We devised a full front end technical solution for the site, evaluating the use of "Ajax SEO" crawl friendly HTML pre-fetching using Phantom.js. This led to a fast, full indexation of all of the pages on the site. We consulted on basics such as internal link strategy to more complex technical requirements such as bot handling for lesser known content fetching processes, such as Twitter and Facebook's preview and thumbnail systems.

Results

  • 85% improvement in impressions (organic search)
  • All pages indexed (fewer than 10% prior to technical implementation)

Challenge

The Conran Shop approached us with a typically classic online retailer's problem. They're a well known high street brand, and as a result have a great deal of branded organic search traffic online. They had, however, a limited amount of non-branded organic search traffic. Recognizing their potential, their marketing team got in touch with and hired SEOgadget to fix that problem.

Solution

Over 6 months, we helped The Conran Shop identify and fix "quick SEO wins" on their soon to be replaced eCommerce platform, providing a more detailed keyword research, technical spec and site architecture for a future platform. We carried out a content marketing campaign which took them to first place in Google.co.uk for "designer chairs" and brought top 3 positions for "designer lighting" and "designer lights". With terms such as "lighting" and "designer chairs" now on page 1 of Google's results, The Conran Shop are enjoying significantly higher non-branded organic revenues and assisted SEO conversions.

Challenge

Cancer Research UK approached us after experiencing difficulties managing the initial outcomes of the introduction of Google's Panda Algorithm update. Traffic across their site network from organic search had been impacted.

Solution

We carried out detailed technical consulting, working with their technology team to resolve issues that were affecting their site traffic. Successful implementation, two domain migrations and a site architecture re-construction have also had a positive impact on the performance of their site.
